Broadway Studios is a historic venue located in the heart of San Francisco’s North Beach. It was originally constructed in 1919 as the famous Italian Men’s Club “Garibaldi Hall”. In the 1940s it was known as the Italian Supper Club.
In the early 70′s, Punk Rock and Heavy Metal slammed their way into North Beach at the legendary Mabuhay Gardens, located on the first floor. The Dead Kennedys, Iggy Pop, The Nuns, Blondie, Metallica and many more performed on it’s stage.
Recently Broadway Studios hosted Sony Music and iTunes, featuring performances by Herbie Hancock, Primus and Guns ‘n’ Roses. The venue also hosted a live music and video concert recording for the Grammy Award winning band Train.
Today, Broadway Studios hosts a number of high-tech conferences such as the Growth Hackers, Hackers and Founders, Start-Up Product, Sales Start-up, Campaigns and Elections and X-Box’s One Tour Product Launch.
